MyFinanceCalculators is operated by J&N Peak LLC, 759 Hunter Trace Lane, Lavon, TX 75166. This policy explains what information we collect when you use this site, how it is used, and the choices you have.
What data we collect
No account and no signup is required to use any calculator on this site. We do not ask for your name, email address, or financial account details.
Calculator inputs are processed in your browser. The numbers you type into a calculator are used to produce results on your screen and are not stored on our servers.
Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard server logs. These may include your IP address, browser type and version, referring page, requested page, and the date and time of the request. We use analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns, as described below.
Cookies and similar technologies
A cookie is a small text file that a site or its partners place on your device. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, and device identifiers. On this site they are used for three purposes: keeping the site working correctly, measuring aggregate traffic, and serving advertising.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the site behave, and advertising cookies can also be controlled through the opt out links below.
Third party advertising
Google, as a third party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You may also opt out of some third party vendor cookies at www.aboutads.info/choices.
Third party vendors and ad networks other than Google may also serve ads on this site. We do not control the cookies or similar technologies used by those vendors, and their own privacy policies govern their practices.
Analytics
We measure aggregate usage such as page views, referring sources, approximate location at a country or region level, device and browser type, and which calculators are used most. The purpose is to understand which tools are useful, fix errors, and improve page speed and content. We do not use analytics to build profiles of identified individuals, and we do not sell analytics data.
Data retention
Server logs are retained for a limited period, generally no longer than 12 months, and then deleted or anonymised. Aggregate analytics reports, which do not identify individuals, may be kept longer for trend comparison. Calculator inputs are not retained at all because they are never sent to our servers. Advertising and analytics vendors apply their own retention schedules to data they collect.
Your rights in the EU and UK
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the GDPR and UK GDPR give you the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to request correction or deletion, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within the time limits set by law.
Your rights in California
If you are a California resident, the CCPA as amended by the CPRA gives you the right to know what personal information is collected and how it is used, the right to request access to and deletion of that information, the right to correct inaccurate information, the right to limit the use of sensitive personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Sharing includes disclosures for cross context behavioural advertising. You will not be treated differently for exercising these rights. To opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, use the advertising opt out links above or contact us at the address below.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
